Information

Ian pratique la musique (sous le pseudo KAMIDO:TU, remarqué dans la presse internationale) et les arts visuels (photographies, graphisme, pochettes de disques…). L’utilisation des technologies numériques constitue le lien entre chaque discipline.

En 2005, il travaille sur plusieurs séries ayant pour sujet le monde végétal. En parallèle il se charge des artworks de son projet musical. Peu à peu se dessine une identité à mi-chemin entre romantisme, modernité et contemplation.

Durant les années suivantes Ian exploite de plus en plus les possibilités qu’offrent les logiciels de retouche d’images. Ses travaux s’affranchissent alors de la photographie pure pour proposer des images numériques sensitives où le brut côtoie le raffiné.

Ian makes music (under the name of KAMIDO:TU and draw the attention of the international press) and visual arts (photography, graphic design, record sleeves…). Using digital technology makes all the fields merge as one.

In 2005, he worked on various series all based on the vegetal world. Beside, he designed the artwork for his own music project. Step by step, he progressively found his way towards his own identity which stands halfway through romanticism, modernity and contemplation.

In the following years, he made the most of the possibilities offered by image editing softwares. His work then outpassed basic and formal photography to produce sensitive digital pictures in which rough sides meet refined sides.
